Delete Server Files

If you have already backed up files on our servers and are certain you don't want them anymore, you can delete those files anytime. As well, you can delete files from the servers to save storage space.

Deleting server files is processed immediately, and the deleted files can no longer be restored. To delete server files, do the following:

  1. Start eBackup Pros and click the Restore Tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the Red "X" next to the date. The tab name will change to Delete Files, and the action button at the right will change to "Delete Files Now", indicating you are in Delete Mode.

  3. In the left pane, click the checkboxes of the files and/or directories you want to delete; a red "x" will appear inside the box. NOTE: Making the first selection will initiate a file synchronization with the server; this is not deleting files, but getting the most up to date list of files. If you have a large amount of data stored on the server, the synchronization may require some time.

  4. Click the "Delete Files Now" button to delete the selected files from the server.
